About Me

I've taught myself how to make macarons. They say that on a level of difficulty French macarons are 10/10. This blog is about my journey. I love making them because I can create wonderful colours, flavours and textures. Making macaron is more than just about cooking it also combines science and art. Before I mastered them I had many failures. "Think like a queen. A queen is not afraid to fail. Failure is another stepping stone to greatness". Special thanks to chef Jean-Michel for showing me how to perfect my macaron and providing me with crucial advice. Before you leave make sure you visit some of my Designer Macarons based on Fashion, Art and Perfume! Also, you can find vintage recipes from the 1800s, 1909, 1912, 1930s, 1940s and 1960s or to mix it up a bit, something Asian inspired. I'm not a chef just a girl that cooks her heart out on weekends and blogs about it; and made it onto Recipe to Riches Australia!
